LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have repeatedly denied they started an affair while shooting for the made-for-TV movie “Northern Lights,” as well as the fact that said affair might have been the cause of the divorce of both. Yesterday, the two stepped together in public for the first time and Cibrian’s ex-wife is not happy about it, slamming her former husband in the latest issue of Us Weekly.

Glanville has been vocal about her displeasure, to say the least, with the Rimes affair, so it’s perhaps little wonder that she’s speaking out again on the same topic. However, from what she says, it seems she’s not so much upset about the relationship in itself as she is by Cibrian’s playing the innocent card and telling the media that his personal life has become a tabloid fodder because he’s a star, and not necessarily because he did something wrong like cheat on his wife with a married woman.

“In the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now), Glanville says her ex’s ‘displays of poor taste have hurt our two children,’ Mason, 6, and Jake, 2. ‘Eddie is a compulsive liar, cheater and a home wrecker, and he has been an absentee father,’ she says. ‘Eddie may just end up drowning himself in that 'unfair fishbowl’.” Us Weekly writes in the online issue. This is, as some of you may remember, not the first time that Glanville talks of the negative way in which Cibrian’s affair and Rimes’ obsession with him have hurt her two children.

As we also reported a short while back, Eddie Cibrian believes the amount of media attention his personal life has been getting in recent months has nothing to do with the affair with singer and actress LeAnn Rimes (who, as noted above, was also married when it started). In a recent interview, the actor said that he was being “unfairly” placed in a “fishbowl” for the entire world to gawk at. He did not own up to the extra-marital relationship, though he did admit to not being “perfect.”

“What I do know is when you reach a certain point in your career you’re placed in this unfair fishbowl. Things unfortunately get magnified. We are all human, we are all not perfect. The fact is I love my family dearly, and I’m a great father. It just saddens me that this is hurtful and being played out publicly.” Cibrian was saying at the time. Brandi Glanville, his ex-wife, strongly disagrees.
