14 DAY TRIAL // Eurocom, a company well renowned for its mobile workstations and desktop replacement solutions, has just announced the introduction of a new line of All-in-One PCs which are specifically designed for businesses that are looking into energy efficient computing solutions, as the new A9100 Uno 2.0 AIO has a maximum power consumption of just 74W.
To achieve this feat, Eurocom has built the A9100 to take advantage of the low-power hardware that is usually found inside notebook computers.
As a result, the system can be configured to feature a wide series of mobile Intel first generation Core processors, based on the Arrandale architecture, paired together with up to 8GB of DDR3 SODIMM memory while graphics is provided via the integrated GPU.
Power consumption is further reduced by the use of mobile storage solutions, Eurocom enabling the A9100 Uno to house two 2.5-inch drives (HDD, SSD or hybrid) for a maximum of 1.5TB of capacity.
All these are packed together with a 19-inch display that has a resolution of 1400x900 pixels.
As far as connectivity is concerned, Eurocom's AIO features Gigabit Ethernet support, one USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports, one eSATA port, a pair of serial RS232 ports, an HDMI input as well as all the regular digital and analog audio I/Os.
Sadly, Wi-Fi is missing from the standard configuration, but can be added as an option.
