The final flavor of Dolphin Browser HD v4.2 is now available for download via the Android Market, the team behind the mobile browser has just announced.

The new application flavor follows shortly after the beta release of the solution, and only a few days after the inclusion of Dolphin Browser Mini in the application store.

“In our efforts to bring you a better and stabler browser, we’re excited to announce that Dolphin Browser HD v4.2 is now live in Android Market,” the development team announced.

According to them, the new release is meant mainly to provide users with a series of fixes for JavaScript related bugs, but there are also some code optimizations that pave the road to future updates for the browser.

When compared to the Dolphin Browser HD v4.2 beta version, the new release does not offer too many enhancements, the company added.

Some of the main improvements included in the new release would be:

A rolling process titles in tab bar. Long press the icon of gesture and drag the icon to the corner you want (bottom left & bottom right). Fix the bug that Copy URL cannot work.

The application also comes with support for the new Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, and those who would go for a Nexus S device today can also download and install it on their new devices.

“Additionally, after you get this new version installed on your phone, if you get force close message on Android 2.3, please report to us as soon as you can. We will do our duty and try to fix the issue for you as fast as we can,” the company notes.

The new Dolphin Browser HD v4.2 was made available for download from the Android Market for all handsets running under Android 2.0 or higher. Users can also download it through scanning the barcode to the left.
