14 DAY TRIAL // According to the latest news around the Internet, Verizon Wireless is set to deliver new software updates for two of its DROID handsets, namely the DROID Incredible and DROID Eris, both of which come from the Taiwan-based handset vendor HTC Corporation. None of the said software updates has been confirmed officially as of yet, but it seems that at least one of them has already started to arrive on devices, namely the on for DROID Eris.

The new solution is reportedly meant to fix the 'Silent Call' issue. “You will get the OTA MR4 soon. It may take a week before the whole customer base has the update but you will get it,” a recent post on Verizon's forums notes. As for the new solution for the DROID Incredible, a recent article on Droid-Life states that users should enjoy 720p video recording, the MyVerizon app, updated widgets, a series of bug fixes and more as soon as it arrives. However, the arrival of the update hasn't been confirmed for the time being, and chances are that it might prove to be only a rumor in the end. One of the software updates that would certainly arrive on DROID Incredible should be the Android 2.2 Froyo solution, though there are no specific details available on when it should arrive.
