14 DAY TRIAL // Only a couple of days ago, Courtney Stodden was saying in her first post-split interview (see the video below) that the reason her marriage to much older actor Doug Hutchison didn’t work was because she married too young. As it turns out, she might have spoken too soon, because the marriage isn’t over just yet.
In the same interview, Courtney denied that the split was just a PR stunt. Either she was lying or she is really determined to give Doug and their marriage a fighting chance.
Courtney Stodden, for those who aren’t familiar with the name, married Doug when she was only 16, for which reason she’s come to be known in the press as “Teen Bride.” She’s eccentric and flashy and outrageous and, more importantly, she made a name for herself on the controversy around her marriage to Doug.
He was 51 at the time they wed and was actually older than her father.
Radar Online is now saying that she’s decided to give him another chance, after he took her out to dinner at a popular Hollywood restaurant and did his best to “woo” her back. Wooed her he did, and they spent the entire night making out in a booth in the restaurant.
“Courtney and Doug were all over each other at the restaurant, acting like they always did when they were together. Doug told people in the restaurant that he and Courtney were back together and working it out,” says a spy for the publication.
“They were hot and heavy in that booth! It’s obvious how much Doug wants to be with Courtney, and I’m not sure if it’s completely reciprocated… but I think she’ll stay with him for the time being because she can’t get enough of the attention they get as a couple,” another insider adds.
The report also mentions that Courtney and Doug gladly posed for pictures with fans as if they hadn’t even made the divorce announcement just days before, so this begs the question: could it be that they’re pulling a fast one on the public by lying about their separation?
