It appears that BlackBerry Bold 9900 pricing and availability have been revealed in the UK, as most of the retailer have started taking pre-orders for the smartphone.

BlackBerry fans who are anxiously expecting for the device to hit shelves can pre-order it now to receive it sometime between mid- and end-August.

As expected, the Bold Touch 9900 will be available for free at most UK major carriers with select plans.

According to the latest hearsay, T-Mobile UK will offer the smartphone for free with a new £30.64/month contract, while Orange, Vodafone and O2 will be charging customers over £35/month.

Although the phone will soon be available from Three UK as well, the carrier has yet to announce the Bold 9900's price tag.

For those who are not familiar with the phone's capabilities, BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 is powered by RIM's latest BlackBerry 7 operating system.

The smartphone is equipped with a single core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, which makes it one of the most powerful devices manufactured by RIM.

According to Research in Motion (RIM), the Bold Touch 9900 will be one of the first in a new series of powerful devices. The new mobile platform provides support for HSPA+ connectivity and Liquid Graphics touch screen.

Additionally, the Bold 9900 bar phone includes built-in support for Augmented Reality and Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.

BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 packs 8 GB of internal memory, 768 MB RAM, as well as microSD slot for memory expansion (up to 32 GB).

Furthermore, the device comes with a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen with support for 640 x 480 pixels resolution, proximity sensor for auto turn-off and accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate.

The embedded 5.0-megapixel photo snapper supports 720p HD video recording and playback, as well as autofocus, LED flash, face detection and image stabilization.
