Canadian mobile phone carrier Bell is reportedly gearing up for the release of its own version of Samsung Galaxy S on August 6, namely the Galaxy S Vibrant. The high-end Android-based mobile phone is already highly popular in some markets around the world, and it seems that Bell is also set to make it widely known in Canada, as it kicked off a special promotion through which it offers one free unit each day until launch day.

“We’re giving away one Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant, every day until the phone launches,” the wireless operator and handset vendor Samsung announced via a special page it put in place on its website.

The promotion kicked off on July 23, and states that “There are a total of 15 Prizes available to be won. Each Prize consists of 1 Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant smartphone. Approx retail value $599 Cdn. ea [canadian dollars]. On each day starting on July 23, 2010 and ending on August 6, 2010.” Additional info on the contest can be found on the wireless carrier's website here.

As a recent article on MobileSyrup notes, this means that Canadian mobile phone users interested in the purchase of this device have the opportunity to win one for free from Bell. Moreover, the announcement regarding the availability of this promotion is also meant to confirm the launch date for Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant at Bell, as well as its price tag.

Moreover, the news site notes that the $599 retail value of Galaxy S might help it a lot in its fight against the Apple iPhone 4, which would land in Canada on July 30 with a higher price tag attached to it. Canadian users interested in what Bell has to offer when it comes to the Galaxy S Vibrant should head over to the carrier's website here. Once there, they would learn that the promotion could also provide them with tickets to see Lady Gaga, as well as with the possibility to win a Samsung 55” LED TV. No info on the contract price of the device emerged.
