The PlayStation 3 Slim seems to be all the rage, with sales of the Sony console increasing no less than 999% in the United Kingdom in the first week when the new hardware revision was on sales. But does this mean that PlayStation 3 exclusives have a bright future, with increased sales and top chart positions? Apparently, not for now, but definitive proof will only come with the release of games like Uncharted 2 and the new Game of the Year Edition of LittelBigPlanet.

At the moment, Batman: Arkham Asylum, the Eidos published Dark Knight featuring combination of brawler, stealth game and adventure title, is holding on to the top spot it conquered last week, with the Wii Sports Resort from Nintendo, which introduces the Wii Motion Plus, taking second spot.

It's a bit of a surprise to see that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the first person shooter from Activision, has climbed to number 3 from 10, suggesting that players might be interested in seeing what the fuss is all about with the game just as Modern Warfare 2 is getting closer to its release date. Wii Fit is now in fifth place, followed by another sports-oriented title, Ashes Cricket 2009 from Codemasters.

A new flight simulation title from 1C Company entered the chart at number 6. IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey allows the player to experience the dog fights of World War II on different levels of realism, attracting both hardcore and more casual players. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 from EA Sports is at number 7, while Call of Duty: World at War from Treyarch and Activision is at number 8.

Fight Night Round 4 also went up four places from 13 to 9, while the new Dissidia: Final Fantasy from Square Enix took the last place in the top ten. Both Wolfenstein and Mario Kart Wii slid out of the top ten.
