Drive by helicopter

It's not September 1 yet, the date on which the trailer for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto IV downloadable content is set to be released, but we have pretty new screenshots from The Ballad of Gay Tony to take a look at as we wait fore the fresh content of one of the best videogames of last year.

Rockstar is beginning to build the hype for the title, which is set to be launched exclusively for the Xbox 360 home gaming console from Microsoft on October 29 this year for the price of 1,600 Microsoft Points, which is about 20 dollars in real world money.

The star of the screenshots, which seem to be taken directly from the game, probably from a multiplayer match, is a new helicopter that appears to be prepared to bring a lot of firepower to the streets of Liberty City.

It seems that players will be able to use it to assault anything from trains riding the suburban tracks to a cruise ship that lies somewhere offshore. Another of the screenshots shows off a little drive by action via motorcycle and green helmet, which also looks very good.

The Ballad of Gay Tony is the second piece of DLC set to come out for Grand Theft Auto IV after The Lost & Damned, which attracted a lot of attention back in April. The new content will not be actually featuring an openly gay protagonist but will focus on an assistant, named Luis Lopez, who works for Anthony “Gay Tony” Prince and begins to work for the Ancelotti crime family that was also featured in the original single player section of the game.

Some of his goals will probably be shown to players when the trailer for The Ballad of Gay Tony is released but they can expect a lot of shooting, fast driving and, as of now, helicopter sections.
