Mobile games developer and publisher Astraware announced the launch of two new titles for the Windows Mobile platform. The new releases include OddBlob - a puzzle arcade, and a shooting game named Police Range.

OddBlob is a fun puzzle arcade game with funky graphics created using modelling clay. The main character is a groovy clay dude whom players have to help bounce across a maze while collecting bonuses along the way. This has to be done as quickly as possible, as the tiles disappear behind. Special bounce and double bounce tiles can help OddBlob in his quest or lead him to his death. Cake slices give players a chance to try the cake or doom mini-puzzle, a larger number of bounces made to get the cake earning them a bigger bonus.

The second game, Police Range, puts players'  skill and accuracy to the test as they train on the shooting range in order to become top police marksmen. Users get to choose from two ranges to train on: Target Practice and Crime Alley. The first game mode is meant to improve players' accuracy as targets appear faster and faster at various distances. The second mode puts players' eyes and nerves to the test, with villains and civilians appearing in windows and doorways. Of course, shooting civilians will cause players to fail.

OddBlob and Police Range feature Astraware's new online high score table which allows users to see how they rate against other players worldwide. Scores can be submitted via WiFi or data connection, or - for those without Internet access, can be posted on the local high score table. Also, both games include a diverse range of fun awards and achievements.

Interested users can purchase the games for $4.99 each. Both titles are compatible with touchscreen-enabled devices running Windows Mobile 5 or later, and are also available for iPhone and iPod Touch.
