As promised, major US carrier Verizon Wireless is introducing Apple's iPad tablet in its offering, bundled with a MiFi 2200 device that enables 'on the go' access to Internet through operator's 3G network. The package is available in more than 2,000 Verizon Wireless Communications Stores in the USA.

Just to make it clear, Verizon is not making too much of an effort to offer its customers a better deal in terms of pricing, since you are able to get one of the three available “iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G” models for $629.00 (16GB), $729.00 (32GB) or $829.00 (64GB), directly from one of Apple's official stores.

Verizon Wireless is offering three bundle variants, all featuring an iPad Wi-Fi model together with a Verizon MiFi 2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot, for a suggested retail price of $629.99 for iPad Wi-Fi 16 GB + MiFi, $729.99 for iPad Wi-Fi 32 GB + MiFi, and $829.99 for iPad Wi-Fi 64 GB + MiFi.

So, the only extra thing you get is called MiFi 2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot, which replaces the iPad’s builtin 3G capability and allows users to create a personal Wi-Fi cloud that can share Verizon's Internet connectivity with up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices.

As long as you're in Verizon Wireless' 3G coverage area you'll be able to use the MiFi 2200 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot to browse the Internet, read and send e-mails, as well as share photos with your friends on any of the major social networking services.

Furthermore, customers who purchase one of the three bundles can take advantage of the carrier's monthly access plan beginning at 1 GB of data for just $20.

In addition, Verizon Wireless will also offer all three iPad Wi-Fi models on a stand-alone basis. Fortunately, the stand-alone models are considerably cheaper, ranging from $499.99 (16GB), $599.99 (32GB), and $699.99 (64GB) respectively.
