14 DAY TRIAL // A new mobile application is now available for the users of a handset running under Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system, coming straight from Amazon and offering users fast access to millions of Amazon.com products directly from their mobile phones. The new mobile application was designed specifically to fit the Windows Phone 7 operating system, offering users a fast and convenient way to shop on Amazon from their devices while on the go.
With the new software, users would be able to access all of a product’s details in a single view, while also having the possibility to scroll horizontally to search and buy without having to load new screens or leave the application.
“We are thrilled to add Windows to our suite of Amazon shopping applications,” said Sam Hall, director of Amazon Mobile.
“We’ve combined the unique attributes of Windows Phone 7 with the popular Amazon shopping features customers have come to know and trust, to create an app that’s customized for Windows Phone 7 devices.”
The new Amazon App for Windows Phone 7 was designed to fit the new panoramic-style layout the mobile operating system comes with, so that customers can quickly swipe left and right to access various details on a product, to read reviews on it or make a purchase.
At the same time, the app was designed to offer access to a user's Amazon.com account and to their favorite shopping features such as Gold Box Deal of the Day and Lightning Deals, personalized recommendations, Wish Lists, 1-Click ordering, regardless their location

“With its panoramic layout and user-friendly design, Amazon for Windows Phone 7 is a prime example of the rich applications that will let Windows Phone 7 users get the most out of their phone,” he continued.
The new Amazon App for Windows Phone 7 was already made available for download via the Windows Phone Marketplace.
