As reported a short while ago, American Idol runner-up and already a favorite with millions of fans around the world Adam Lambert will come out on the cover of the prestigious Rolling Stone magazine. Although he’s yet a bit coy about the issue, the singer has confirmed that fans are in for a big surprise once the mag comes out this week, E! Online reports.

Over the weekend, at the Young Hollywood Awards, E! Online managed to bump into Adam, also known as Glambert for his flamboyant style and performances on the popular singing competition. True to his style so far, the singer refused to plain out confirm that he’s about to make a major personal revelation in the upcoming issue of the mag, but he did say that something big was about to happen. Given that, in showbiz, there’s rarely smoke without a fire, meaning, that the probability for the coming out rumor to be completely unfounded being small to none, it is believed the “revelation” will deal with Adam’s orientation.

“At this point, I think everybody knows everything, but once the Rolling Stone article comes out, people will know everything.” a very excited Adam told E! on the red carpet. The Rolling Stone article will not only make things official, if that’s what was really needed, the singer explains, but it will also do so his own way, with his own words, to his own timing. “I’m excited. I want people to know what’s up. It’s words coming out of my mouth!” Lambert added. Whether fans wish to read between the lines or not is, of course, entirely up to them.

Adam did not stop here with dropping hints all over the place, though. As he was accepting the Artist of the Year Award, he again stressed that he was eager for the magazine to come out so that all rumors would stop and he could put an end to the gossip that had been plaguing his life ever since before American Idol came to an end. At the same time, it would also force the paparazzi to back off him, he said, since they would no longer be searching for clues and hoping to get that $1 million shot.

“People are always asking me what it’s like. There are all these rumors going around, and there are paparazzi. And there are the queen rumors – all of them.” Lambert said as he was accepting his award. All of the above should finally find a solution later this week, when the new Rolling Stone issue comes out. Make sure you keep an eye on this space for when it does.
