Between June and September

It seems that AT&T indeed has great plans for its customers when it comes to the handsets that it expects to add to its lineup in the near future. We’ve already seen the HTC Lancaster that comes to the carrier running under Android, as well as the Windows Mobile-based Warhawk and Fortress handsets, and now it's high time we take a look at some more devices meant to receive the AT&T branding sooner or later, this time a bunch of Nokia phones coming directly from Espoo, Finland.

According to some recently leaked slides, Nokia will deliver a number of four devices to AT&T, following the release of the Nokia E71x last month. Hopefully, the newly spotted Nokia Mako, Snapper, Grouper and Thresher won't come to the carrier's lineup with the same delay as the E71x, especially given the fact that they seem to be rather attractive handsets.

The first in line, the Nokia Mako, comes with a side-sliding QWERTY keypad that seems to be totally different from any other piece of hardware that we could see into the wild. Furthermore, it also includes dual-band HSDPA connectivity, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a 2-megapixel photo snapper, AGPS, Video Share capabilities, a 2.5mm headphone jack, 128MB of internal storage, and a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space.

Nokia Snapper, the second device heading towards AT&T, comes with a flip form factor, features external music keys, which suggests that it will be music oriented, and includes a 2-megapixel photo snapper, handsfree speaker, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP connectivity, USB 2.0, AGPS, video playback capabilities, 70MB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space.

The third handset leaked into the wild is the Nokia Grouper, another clamshell that sports external music controls, runs under Symbian Series 40, features a 2.2-inch internal display that can deliver a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, as well as support for 16 million colors, a 2-megapixel camera, AGPS, Push to Talk technology, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and USB 2.0 connectivity, as well as 70MB of internal memory coupled with a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space.

The last of the Nokia phones expected to head towards AT&T is the Thresher, which seems to be an Nseries device featuring a sliding form factor, a 2.4-inch display that can offer a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, a 360 degree optical joystick, noise cancellation, a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper with flash, Bluetooth 2.1, USB port and music player.
