According to the latest news on the web, there is yet another mobile phone coming from Finnish handset maker Nokia that has recently seen approval from FCC, namely the Nokia N86 8MP, following close behind the Nokia N97 NAM, which has been recently approved for commercialization on the United States market.

The Nokia N86 8MP was unveiled for the first time back in February during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, and, as its name suggests, it comes to the market with an impressive 8-megapixel photo snapper with Carl Zeiss optics, as well as with a 2.6-inch OLED screen, while being considered to be Nokia’s next-generation cameraphone.

As it usually happens, the fact that the Nokia N86 8MP has been spotted wandering through FCC's court yard suggests that it might not be too long before mobile phone users in the US will have the opportunity to grab one of these beauties. Unfortunately, it is unknown for the time being whether the mobile phone will come through a carrier in the country or will be sold unlocked.

According to some reports on the Web, the 8-Megapixel behemoth is expected to come with a variety of high-end technologies included in the package, all of which are meant to provide en enhanced user experience. In addition, reports also say that the mechanical shutter can take high-quality images, and that it “cuts down on the camera’s shot-to-shot time.”

There are no further details regarding the exact availability of the phone, nor on the price tag that it might feature when released into the wild, though more info should surface in the near future. For what it's worth, either it comes on a certain carrier's airwaves or unlocked, the dual-sliding Nokia N86 8MP is set to draw attention on the market, and allow users to catch live moments for eternity.
