A few days ago, wireless carrier 3 UK announced officially that a new price plan is available for its users, dubbed The One Plan, and put in place for all mobile phones. According to the wireless carrier, the new plan comes with minutes, texts and data, being able to prove a great option for all customers. In other words, this plan has been put in place to make users happy.

When it comes to what exactly the new The One Plan can offer to the wireless carrier's users, we should mention 2,000 any network minutes, 5,000 Three-to-Three minutes, 5,000 texts, and 1GB of Internet. All of these are available with monthly costs that start at £25 per month, depending on the mobile phone one would choose from the carrier.

“The future of the UK mobile market is all about data and that’s what we were designed to do. We were ahead of our time with the first 3G network, but with the huge growth in internet and smartphones we’re now coming into our own. Our innovative tie-in with T-Mobile has allowed our 3G network to grow from around 8,000 sites in 2008 to what will be more than 12,000 by the end of this year. That takes us up to 98% 3G population coverage. We’re also continuing to invest heavily in the way data is carried across our network – giving you faster speeds and more capacity,” the carrier notes on its official blog.

In case the number of minutes, texts and data included in the plan might not seem to impressive, here's how the carrier “translates” them. With The One Plan, users would be able to talk over 24 hours a week, or sent more than 1,000 text messages during the same period of time. Moreover, they can enjoy 30 minutes of YouTube a day, or they can check on their Facebook profile over 65,000 times a month. According to the carrier, it removed the unlimited plans from its offering as of July 1, and the new plan proves that there is no need for them.

According to 3UK, although the term “unlimited” has disappeared from its offering, users would receive more: “As standard, all of our newer tariffs have had an allowance of 500MB (hidden underneath the ‘unlimited’ umbrella). For those of you on Internet Texter 500 or 900, or Internet Talker 900 or 1200, (that was over two thirds of you judging by our June figures) you’ll now get 1GB of data every month. And of course, for an extra fiver a month, any of our customers can buy themselves an extra 2GB.”
