The number of wireless carriers in the UK set to have the new Apple iPhone 4 available for their uses has just increased to five. Following previous announcement that O2, Orange and Vodafone would have the iPhone 4 launched on their networks, two other operators confirmed the move, namely 3UK and T-Mobile.

“Three UK will launch iPhone 4, the thinnest smartphone in the world with the highest resolution display ever built into a phone, in the UK on June 24. Customers can pre-order iPhone 4 beginning Tuesday, June 15,” the wireless carrier announced via its official blog. In other words, the company will have the new Apple device available for its users in time for the official launch at other carriers in the country.

As for the second new UK carrier to join this launch party, here's what the official announcement looks like: “T-Mobile UK will launch iPhone 4, the thinnest smartphone in the world with the highest resolution display ever built into a phone, in the coming weeks. Further information on launch timings, pricing and tariff plans will be revealed in due course.”

There are chances that T-Mobile subscribers won't have the opportunity to taste the iPhone 4 on their carrier's airwaves on June 24, though the carrier might actually get in line with the rest of the world on that day. It should also be noted that the iPhone 4 is set to become the first Apple device to be sold via T-Mobile and 3 in the UK, as O2, Orange and Vodafone already have existing models available for their users.

Tesco Mobile is expected to sell the iPhone too, under its agreement with O2. As for the latter, it recently revealed that special offers would be put in place for its existing iPhone customers wishing to upgrade to the new model. O2 customers can buy themselves out of their current contract so as to upgrade to a new iPhone, with the additional cost of 20 for each month remaining on their existing contract. O2 was the exclusive iPhone carrier in the UK until the second half of the last year.
