Blue Dragon's release date hasn't been touched

With old arcade games launching on every next-gen console out there, you must wonder: So when am I to expect some real games for my powerful PS3 /360/Wii?" I mean, yeah sure, classics are great and all, but I didn't get my Xbox 360 to play Gyruss and 333 old Xbox games. I want to see some high definition content, along with great sound and gameplay, doing something different for a change, instead of playing three year old games on a machine that can do so much better.

So, just when you thought that you were finally getting something worthy of that very powerful 360 of yours (or why not Elite 360; it launches in just a few days), 3 games scheduled for a late spring - early summer release, have just been pushed for a late summer - early autumn launch. Great, huh? More time to polish up on that 3D Mini-Golf available to download via Xbox Live. They are: Mass Effect, Bioshock and Eternal Sonata.

However, BioWare says that Mass Effect (remember Jack Bauer in space?) didn't even have a release date set, so it shouldn't burst anyone's bubble. It was expected earlier than fall I'm afraid. The article on EvilAvatar said something about 4 titles, yet Blue Dragon's release date (August, 2007) announced at the Game Developers Conference this year, hasn't changed one bit. It was set for a late summer release right from the beginning. But that doesn't comfort anyone I'm sure. Oh well, guess Gyruss is up for the next 4 months.
