If you're tired of Wii Sports and Wario Ware Smooth Moves, here's a title launching August 10, 2007, that'll surely give you reasons to keep cool under pressure and develop a steady hand. Develop a steady hand... that didn't sound right. Anyway, Trauma Center: Second Opinion is the title launching for the Wii across Europe on the 10th of August.

The game follows the same format as the original Trauma Center: Under The Knife, being a fast-paced action-filled game where players must complete the tasks set for them as quickly and accurately as possible. The official report says that points will be awarded for both accuracy and speed, as a truly great surgeon will need a confident, but steady hand. In this version of the game, all the surgeon's actions are controlled using a series of life-like movements with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, making Trauma Center more exciting and realistic than ever before.

Players become life-savers once more as they perform complex and challenging operations, using the Wii Remote. The game is set initially in Hope Hospital, Trauma Center: Second Opinion sees the return of rookie doctor Derek Stiles and introduces new surgeon Dr. Nozomi Weaver. Derek finds himself thrown in at the deep end combating the deadly disease 'GUILT' (Gangliated Utrophin Immuno Latency Toxin), believed to have been engineered by the terrorist group Delphi. Uuu...!

The control scheme is said to provide a two-handed gameplay, making use of both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, as players will select instruments using the Nunchuk in one hand whilst the other hand employs the chosen tool, adding precision and realism to the game. Players will have more than a dozen different instruments at their disposal, over the course of the game, such as syringes, scalpels, tweezers, defibrillator paddles etc.

Remember, Trauma Center: Second Opinion is set for a 10th August release across Europe, for the Wii. It'll cost ?35.
