It appears that yet another company is testing its multitasking ability, although unlike Gigabyte and I-O Data, Buffalo is mostly sticking to the same market, having now prepared new flash drive units.

Just a short time ago, Gigabyte and I-O Data both proved that they can tackle two markets at the very same time.

I-O Data, for one, prepared a new set of portable, USB hard disk drives, along with a 27-inch Full HD LCD monitor.

Meanwhile, Gigabyte has been working on, as one would expect, a new AMD Radeon HD 6850 card, besides a pair of 80Plus Silver PSUs.

Buffalo is now proving to have also created more than one type of device, although its own products do stick closer to the same market segment.

One of said new inventions is the latest USB 3.0 external hard disk drive, the 3TB HD-LBVU3.

As for the second product, or in this case product collection, it is a set of flash drives bearing the names of RUF2-HSCLT, RUF2-HSCLTV and RUF2-HSCLTV3.

As far as the hardware goes, they all can have capacities of 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB, plus a slide-out USB 2.0 connector (backwards compatible with USB 1.1).

The other major asset that all share is the AES 256bit hardware encryption, a data protection capability complemented by the Trend Micro antivirus software.

Said antivirus software ca prove quite useful, as it scans each and every file transferred onto the flash drive automatically.

That said, only the RUF2-HSCLTV and RUF2-HSCLTV3 come with subscription for antivirus updates, lasting 1 year and 3 years, respectively.

Finally, depending on the above options, and on the exact capacity of each model, the product price can range between $76.6 and $360.

Needless to say, the official website holds all the existing information on either model.
