It seems that not all IT players in the world are taking a break, as Mouse Computer decided it was as good a time as any for it to officially introduce a pair of new desktops, even if only in one country.

For some reason, things appear to be progressing rather slowly on the IT market recently, at least as far as new product announcements on the consumer market go.

Granted, Samsung did show off a wide variety of laptops, plasma TVs, Blu-ray players and even 3D LED HDTVs, among other things.

Also, some pricing information on the upcoming ASUS, LG, Motorola and Acer tablets surfaced, along with info on the 10.1-inch Toshiba slate.

Still, overall, the market has been rather slow, and the various IT players did little besides analyze their position in the recent months, in terms of finances, and make forecasts for the remainder of the year.

Fortunately, there are still companies like Cubitek and, now, Mouse Computer, that didn't mind unleashing something new.

Basically, Mouse Computer built two desktop personal computers going by the name of LUV Machine Slim and S, respectively.

They are powered by one of Intel's Core 2000 CPUs, the exact models available as options being Core i3-2100, Core i5-2400 and Core i7-2600.

Whichever chip is chosen is backed up by either 2 GB or 4 GB of RAM (random access memory) and, should it so be desired, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 or GTX 460 graphics adapter.

Of course, those not interested in too strong a graphics performance can just make do with the integrated Intel 2000 HD.

So far, the systems have only been listed in Japan, where they are priced at between 44,940 Yen and 79,800 Yen. Whether or not worldwide availability is in the company's plans is something that has not been made clear.
