There was some bleeping at this year’s MTV Movie Awards, perhaps more than in previous years. However, the night also included some very funny moments – with our without profanity. Read below about them.

Jason Sudeikis made for a good host at the awards show, even if he seemed to pushing it with his Arnold Schwarzenegger jokes at one point, word online has it.

Overall, though, he was good: he knew when to stop and when to pass the torch to somebody else; most importantly, he knew how to work the crowd to offer them an entertaining awards show.

Of course, since this is MTV we’re talking about and an awards show placed right before the movie summer season kicks off, it’s no wonder the Movie Awards looked like one long, giant commercial – not that fans are complaining, mind you.

Which brings us to the highlights of the evening: the first teaser trailer for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.”

Fans made “Eclipse” the biggest winner of the night (with 5 wins), so it’s no wonder the new trailer was a pivotal moment in the awards show. In that sense, it did not disappoint.

The first trailer brought hints of a night of steamy passion, lots of kissing, a wedding and, of course, Taylor Lautner’s pecs and ripped abs. It was all fans could have asked for – and then some.

Another highlight of the evening was also Twilight-related: the moment Robert Pattinson left the stage, headed straight for Taylor Lautner and kissed him on the month once, and then on the forehead and hand.

Even though the moment was obviously scripted, it was something to look at – and it was certainly a surprise for fans, since they expected Robert to kiss his real-life girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, with whom he’d won the award for Best Kiss.

The Foo Fighters’ performance was another high of the evening, as also was the moment when Gary Busey rolled onstage to present an award from inside a hamster ball.

A new trailer for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” was also presented, while fans of J.J. Abrams’ got their fair share of fun as well, when a new clip for “Super 8” was premiered.

Reese Witherspoon may not look the part, but she too has quite a filthy mouth on her: the star was honored with the Generation Award, dropped a couple of F-bombs in her speech and dissed on the likes of Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and Blake Lively.

Of course, that’s not to say that the night didn’t have its lows, because it had those too: just that the highs are more worthy of mentioning. Follow the links in the article for videos of the moments mentioned or see here for more.
