14 DAY TRIAL // As promised, the MTV Movie Awards 2011, held last night at Universal Studios’ Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif., included the first teaser trailer to “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.” Check it out below.
Late last week, MTV debuted a promo for the teaser trailer, which is also the first footage released from the highly-anticipated film, the fourth and the one before the last in the series.
That is to say, thanks to it, fans knew there would be some footage of the wedding: Edward the vampire and Bella the mortal’s.
Still, many were surprised just how much Summit Entertainment, the movie company behind the blockbuster franchise, managed to show in this first teaser.
As fans will immediately note, the trailer also includes hints of the romantic honeymoon, the much mediated first night after the wedding and, of course, something about the pregnancy as well.
MTV sat down with some of the biggest “Twilight” fans out there, who are also editors of the leading Twilight fansites, and they’re positively psyched about the new trailer (see second video for their reactions).
They note that it’s amazing that Summit included in the trailer Jacob’s reaction to hearing that Bella is getting married and a lovemaking scene from the wedding night.
They also point out that the trailer shows nothing of the bride save for the engagement ring, the tiara and her face – which only makes the female fans be even more curious about how Bella’s wedding dress will look like.
Presumably, the next trailer (the official one, perhaps, not just a teaser) will also show more of the Volturi and of the Wolfpack, Jacob in particular, who will be having a very hard time this installment with Bella’s romance with a vampire.
