BioShock was one of the biggest games in 2007 as it presented a great story filled with unique twists and a very polished gameplay with FPS and RPG elements. It never broke the interaction between the player and the world of the underwater city of Rapture and was among the most original games of the last few years.

As BioShock 2 is getting ready to be revealed, we took part in a teaser website and campaign, which would build up a lot of hype for it. GameInformer would reveal to us some very interesting aspects of this game, detailing a brand new Arch enemy for the main character, in the form of the Big Sister.

The team at GameTrailers has published a gameplay video of the future game, which is dated for an autumn release by 2K Games. The video is extremely good, and gives us a glimpse of the gameplay in these new underwater adventures through the halls of Rapture.

According to GameInformer, you will play as one of the prototype Big Daddies, fact confirmed as the video shows a main character wielding both the classic drill, a rivet gun that can be upgraded in the same way as the other weapons in the first title, and plasmids with various powers.

The Big Sister is fully showcased in the video, as you will be following the new enemy, but barely keeping up with her in the process. She stops you in your tracks after she destroys a window and lets the water from the ocean invade the big auditorium.

A nice twist is the fact that you will now be helped by Dr. Tenenbaum, the fierce protector of the Little Sister in the first game, where she would help the main character turn into a Big Daddy and eventually defeat the main villain. The video ends with a Little Sister voice saying that the Big Sister doesn't want her to play with the main protagonist.

All in all, it is a great video that only serves to get the expectations from this game even higher. Hopefully, 2K Games will unveil more BioShock 2 content as the release date draws near. Without further ado, here is the first BioShock 2 gameplay video:
