Thirteen might be an unlucky number to some but here at Softpedia we had another very busy gaming week, with a full review now available for the just launched Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the first person shooter from Infinity Ward, Raven and Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision Blizzard.

We also have a Quick Look for the same game, one linked to the just released The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim from Bethesda and one for the demo of Rayman: Origins.

I have also posted my final piece on Football Manager 2012 and we have started another Gamer Diary linked to Skyrim, with a post about how the character creator works and how the developers ignored mouse use for it.

We also created a two Weekend Reading pieces, one about the problems that the Call of Duty Elite service is currently facing and one about what racing games can learn from the movie Drive, and a EndWeekGame segment.

And, of course, we also deliver a selection of the gaming news of the past week.

On Monday a leak about Grand Theft Auto V appeared, revealing quite a lot of detail on the game world and on its possible main character, while another rumors said that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will have werewolves as a secret race.

Tuesday was the day that BioWare leaked information about the story of Mass Effect 3 and players were urged not too look at it because it would spoil the game experience while the developers at Gearbox talked about how the art style influenced the creation of Borderlands.

Wednesday it was reported that the Metacritic average for Modern Warfare 3 was a lowly 1.4 while Activision promised to solve the problems associated with the Elite service.

On Thursday rumors about a new Xbox home console talked about a late 2012 launch and Window 8 OS while analysts said that Batman: Arkham City might be the third best title of the year in terms of sales.

Friday a hack attack affected Steam, with credit cards among the compromised data, while the leader of Polyphony Digital confirmed work on Gran Turismo 5.
