ZTE’s first Blade smartphone to be released in the US is the Blade V8 Pro with dual-camera setup and 3GB of RAM. The mid-range smartphone comes with some neat specs and is already available for pre-order at retailers in the US.

ZTE Blade V8 Pro isn’t going to break the market, but it will surely catch the eye of some consumers with its affordable price and decent specs.

The phone’s main selling point is surely its dual-lens setup on the back, which includes two distinct 13MP cameras, a dual-LED flash and a secondary 8MP camera in the front. The dual-camera setup is typically found on high-end smartphone models, but Blade V8 Pro makes it available to more customers.

The 13MP cameras on the back add more options when it comes to editing pictures and including the bokeh effect to images. The phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button and a large 5.5-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating on top for enhanced protection against scratches and damage caused by drops.

Moreover, the smartphone runs a Snapdragon 625 processor by Qualcomm with X9 LTE and 3GB of RAM, together with 32GB of internal memory, which could be expanded to 128GB using a microSD card.

ZTE Blade V8 Pro will have dual SIM support, and users can either insert two SIM cards inside the phone or use one slot for adding more storage via a microSD card. The phone has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack and supports GMS/HSPA bands, together with B2, B4, B5, B7, and B12 LTE Cat 4 bands.

In addition, the Blade V8 Pro draws power from a 3,140mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 and comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It’s available for pre-order in the US for the price of $229.98 at Amazon, B&H, Newegg and ZTE USA's webstore.
