Xiaomi's flagship smartphone, the Mi5, will be unveiled at MWC 2016 trade fair on February 24. However, the Chinese company already teased a few details about the device, but the bulk of the information is expected to be revealed next week.

The good news is Xiaomi fans won't have to wait several more days for the Chinese company to launch the Mi5 since details about the smartphone's specs have already leaked online.

The folks over at GizmoChina have got their hands on a picture that lists some of the most important specs included in the Xiaomi Mi5.

Although Xiaomi did confirm the Mi5 won't come with a Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display, but a full HD (1080p) one, it did not say anything about the size of the screen.

The picture published today lists the Xiaomi Mi5 with a 5.15-inch capacitive touchscreen display, which makes sense for a device that supports full HD resolution.

16MP rear camera, USB Type-C port

As mentioned by Qualcomm earlier this year, the Mi5 will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor, though the amount of RAM is unknown at the moment.

At the back, Xiaomi Mi5 packs a 16-megapixel photo snapper with laser autofocus, OIS (optical image stabilization), LED flash and video recording, but in the front, it will feature a 4-UltraPixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Speaking of which, the Mi5 will offer 4G LTE support, along with USB Type-C port and NFC (Near Field Communications). Other connectivity features might include Wi-Fi, 3G and fingerprint sensor.

Aside from that, we have also learned that Xiaomi Mi5 will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, but it's unclear whether or not it's removable.

There's no mention of OS, but we can safely assume it will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box, along with the latest version of MIUI.
