Pre-orders come with boost to level 100, Demon Hunter class

We had reported a few hours before BlizzCon 2015 kicked off on November 6 that the next major expansion for World of Warcraft will arrive on or before September 21.

The date appeared on a pre-order ad briefly posted by Blizzard on its official website. However, the developer announced over the weekend that World of Warcraft: Legion would be launched in summer 2016.

That's supposedly at least one month later than the release date mentioned on the ad that leaked a few days ago, which is not a bad thing at all.

World of Warcraft fans should prepare for the third invasion of the Burning Legion as destruction will rain down upon Azeroth. The return of the dark titan Sargeras, Ravager of Worlds is heralded by the demons of the Burning Legion.

This time Azeroth’s heroes must seek salvation among the ruins of the Broken Isles, doomed center of ancient night elf civilization and birthplace of myths dating back to the world’s creation.

The sixth expansion to Blizzard's smash hit MMORPG World of Warcraft, Legion will allow players to take the role of a Demon Hunter.

Get to play Demon Hunter ahead of official launch

The new Demon Hunter class comes with an amazing array of powers and abilities. You can choose to play either damage dealer or tank, as the Demon Hunter can pursue and evade targets with preternatural agility.

The new class allows players to metamorphose into hellish forms, as well as build a battle-forged bond with their Artifact, a legendary class-specific weapon that transforms and grows in power as players battle the Legion.

The Artifact can be customized, or added specific traits that will turn it into a form that suits your character's style.

Those who pre-order World of Warcraft: Legion Standard Edition for $45 (€45) will receive one character boost to level 100, but they will also be given early access to Demon Hunter class (when it's ready).

The Digital Deluxe Edition is available for pre-order for $60 (€60) and contains a few more goodies for Blizzard games, such as Felstalker Mount (Heroes of the Storm), two Starcraft II Portraits, Diablo III Wings of the Betrayer, Illidari Felstalker Mount (World of Warcraft), and Nibbles Pet (World of Warcraft).
