One year after developer Big Bad Wolf released the first cinematic trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, a game that we knew very little about, the studio is back with yet another cinematic trailer that introduces one of the three protagonists, Galeb.

Alongside the new trailer, publisher NACON and developer Big Bad Wolf revealed that Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is set for release in February 2022 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Galeb is the second character that we're shown after the developer introduced Leysha last year. He's a 300-year-old vampire that plays a central role in the events that will impact the Camarilla. But before we go into details, it's important to mention that this is a narrative RPG adapted from the 5th edition of Vampire: The Masquerade.

Unfortunately, we haven't been shown any gameplay, so we don't know how these rules have been implemented in the video game. We do get a bit of info regarding the story and everything seems quite interesting, especially for fans of the tabletop game.

In Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, the player takes control of three vampires belonging to different clans of the Camarilla, the secret society to which most vampires belong. The story is told from their perspectives, so players will be jumping from character to character throughout their playthroughs.

As they switch characters, players will have to confront the different points of view of their characters to unravel fact from fiction. As one would expect from an organization like Camarilla, everything is shrouded in mystery and conspiracy.

Murder and scheme are the main activities of those who lead the main factions of the secret society, so it's up to the player to protect their clan. Not to mention that you'll have to do that while enforcing the Masquerade, the vampire law designed to conceal the existence of creatures of the night from humans.

We'll probably get a third cinematic trailer that will introduce the third and last protagonist in the coming months, although what we really want is a little bit of gameplay.
