LG announced its premium smartphone, the G6, during the Mobile World Congress in February, and the phone is already up for pre-order at a number of US carriers. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon are already offering the phone to their subscribers.

LG has just revealed that the unlocked G6 will be made available in the US, but the company hasn’t specified the actual date when the phone will arrive. LG has only mentioned that the unlocked G6 variant will be “coming soon” to its website in the US.

Meanwhile, T-Mobile has already started shipping LG G6 units to some customers who pre-ordered the phone for either $650 outright or on monthly payments. Moreover, the carrier has announced that it will provide customers with a free Google Home speaker if they pre-order the G6 before April 30.

The unlocked G6 could cost about $649

Carriers in the US are offering the LG G6 for prices ranging between $600 at US Cellular and over $700 at AT&T and Sprint. We presume the unlocked variant might cost around $649, but there’s no way of saying for sure right now.

It’s uncertain if LG will offer freebies to customers who pre-order the unlocked G6 in the US, we’ll just have to wait and see. Pre-order periods at US carriers should end at the start of April, when the phone start hitting shelves.

AT&T is currently offering the G6 together with a Google Home speaker and an LG Watch Sport for only $49.99 on a 2-year agreement.

The G6 comes with a 5.7-inch display with Quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixel) resolution, IP68 certification against water damages, a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of internal memory, which can be expanded to 256GB using a microSD card.

It features a 13MP dual-camera setup on the back and a 5MP camera in the front, while battery capacity is 3,300mAh for the newest premium smartphone from LG.
