The development team at Naughty Dog and publisher Sony are ready to deliver the big story trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, showing off some of the biggest narrative moments that players will be able to experience in the final adventure that will have Nathan Drake in the starring role.

The two-minute video is designed to show off the big cast of characters that the narrative will follow while giving fans a chance to look at some of the most impressive environments that they will be able to visit.

Neil Druckmann, one of the leaders of the development team, says that Naughty Dog has been careful to make sure that not too many details were included in the trailer, but those who are in a fall media blackout before the launch of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End should stay away from it.

The game maker adds, "As you can see, there’s quite a bit at stake for Nathan Drake’s closing chapter. The team is working extremely hard to deliver our most ambitious game to date. We can’t tell you how excited we all are for you to play the final game."

The starting point of the story is a meeting between Nathan Drake and Sam, who has long been thought dead, and the pair decides to try and find a mythical land known as Libertalia, which apparently harbors a big pirate treasure.

Naughty Dog says that it will introduce more emotion than ever to the series and that gamers will have to take into account the relationships they have forged with others over the course of the series to decide how to handle the coming narrative.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is the first game in the franchise that will have dialogue options although they will not change the fact that the core story is entirely linear and centered on Drake.

The title will also deliver a complex multiplayer experience

Naughty Dog has been talking a lot about the impressive narrative it is creating, but the game will also give fans a chance to experience a deep multiplayer, which features a range of characters from the series as well as some of the most important relics that Nathan Drake tried to secure.

According to the developers, they are planning to deliver a number of downloadable content packs for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End to add more maps and to tweak the core experience.

The company also suggested that DLC might be used to introduce more narrative sequences linked to the core story.

The multiplayer side of the experience will run at 900p to make sure that the frame rate stays up, and the single-player campaign will be offered in full 1080p.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be out only on the PlayStation 4 from Sony on April 26, after a series of delays, and fans of the franchise can also pick up a special bundle that includes both the title and one of the new home consoles with a special design.
