Sony wants to make Uncharted 4: A Thief's End the biggest first-party launch in the history of the PlayStation 4, and to satisfy the most devoted fans of the series, the hardware maker is announcing that a special Limited Edition bundle for the title will arrive on April 26.

The official PS Blog post explains that the package will only be offered in the United States and Canada for the moment for the price of 399 dollars (359 Euro), with those interested in securing one able to pre-order starting today.

Gamers who get the limited PlayStation 4 version of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will receive a unique gray-blue version of the home console that also features a silkscreened image of main character Nathan Drake that looks pretty impressive.

The package also contains a DualShock 4 and a Blu-ray copy of the video game itself.

John Koller, the vice president of PlayStation brand marketing, adds, "As a bonus, if you pre-order the Limited Edition Uncharted 4 PS4 Bundle, you’ll receive a voucher for an Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune Outfit, Golden Weapon Skin, and Uncharted Points to use in Multiplayer Mode."

The blue-gray DualShock 4 will also be sold as a separate device in early March, and gamers can pick one up for 64.99 dollars (56 Euro).

To celebrate the arrival of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Sony is also delivering a gray blue version of the wireless headset for the PlayStation 4, featuring a prominent PS logo and the inscription Sic Parvis Magna in gold lettering.

Naughty Dog is working with the company to create a custom audio mode linked to the game that will work on PlayStation 4 headsets and will be offered on April 26 on the Headset Companion App.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will reveal Nathan Drake's final adventure

The story of the single player will be focused on the meeting between the protagonist and his presumed lost brother Sam, which leads the pair as well as some other well-known characters on a wild chase for Libertalia and the treasure associated with the pirate heaven.

According to Naughty Dog, the game will challenge Nathan Drake to choose between the safety of those he loves and his corporal integrity, creating more emotion than any other installment in the series.

For the first time, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will use dialogue options to introduce some player choice, and the set pieces will be bigger than ever, with more spectacular elements.

A multiplayer mode is also featured in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, with gamers able to choose from a variety of characters from the history of the franchise and to battle to secure artifacts that Drake himself encountered.

Naughty Dog has also made it clear that it has plans to deliver downloadable content packs for the title that will expand both the single- and the multiplayer modes.

The game was repeatedly delayed to make sure that the version that gamers will be able to play delivers the experience that they are expecting from the final outing of Nathan Drake.
