It's a good time to be a OnePlus fan, especially that the Chinese company is readying another high-end smartphone that's been confirmed to be unveiled on November 15.

Also, another aspect that shows OnePlus really wants to take care of its community is the swiftness with which it delivers software updates for all its smartphones.

Although none of its smartphones runs Android 7.0 Nougat, we expect the Chinese company to offer the long-awaited update to the OnePlus 3 in the coming months. Even better, the upcoming OnePlus 3T is said to be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat, but there will be other improvements included, too.

Until then, let's take a look at one of the unannounced OnePlus devices that has just been spotted at Geekbench. The handset has an intriguing name, OnePlus Pixel, which could suggests the Chinese handset maker plans to offer a raw Android experience with the next smartphone.

More importantly, the phone is powered by Android 7.1 Nougat, which is probably one of the reasons it's been named OnePlus Pixel.

However, since the OnePlus 3T's launch is just around the corner, we doubt that the new so-called OnePlus Pixel is a completely different device.

This could be the OnePlus 3 with Android Nougat on board

The OnePlus Pixel is listed with a quad-core Qualcomm Snpadragon 820 processor inside and 6GB of RAM, so this could very well be the OnePlus 3.

In fact, we strongly believe that this is OnePlus' current flagship smartphone that's being tested with Android 7.1 Nougat.

As mentioned earlier, we expect the OnePlus 3 to be the first smartphone from the Chinese company to receive Nougat, and the fact that the update is already being tested makes us believe that we're not far from the truth.

It remains to be seen whether or not the launch of the OnePlus 3T next week will convince many OnePlus 3 owners that it's worth the upgrade.
