14 DAY TRIAL // We're just a few days away from the official unveiling of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge and the latest press pictures of the smartphones leaked online leave nothing to the imagination.
Aside from the clear images provided by @OnLeaks x uSwitch, a few live pictures show the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge smartphones in the flesh side-by-side.
The size difference between the two devices is evident in these images since Galaxy S7 comes with a 5.1-inch display, whereas the Galaxy S7 edge sports a much larger 5.5-inch screen.
We also find out that both flagships will be available in four color options: black, gold, silver and white. If you did not keep up with the newest details about Samsung upcoming high-end devices, you might want to know that Galaxy S7 is likely to cost €700 while the Galaxy S7 edge should be priced at €800.
Some rumored specs have been confirmed, others not
According to the latest rumors, both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will feature Always-on display, but they will not come with USB Type-C port. For some reason, Samsung has decided to keep the microUSB 2.0 port into its flagship smartphones.
The rest of the phones' specs are almost similar and include either Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Samsung Exynos 8890 chipset, 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal memory.
One improvement over the previous Galaxy S flagship is the addition of microSD card slot, which is now located on the SIM tray.
Although previous rumors claimed the Galaxy S7 might come with hybrid dual-SIM support, which would have enabled users to insert either a second SIM or an SD memory card, it looks like Samsung decided otherwise for fear that carriers will not accept dual-SIM phones.
Samsung announced that the Galaxy Unpacked 2016 event scheduled for February 21, where Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge should be unveiled, will be presented in 360 live streaming.
