14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung has just announced that for the first time, its Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for February 21 will be presented in 360 live streaming.
According to Samsung, users will be able to choose to watch the live stream on PC, mobiles, or using the Gear VR.
“Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2016 is just around the corner, and for the first time the event will be presented in 360 live streaming.
“Even if you cannot make it to Barcelona for the big event, you can still enjoy the excitement of being the first to see Samsung’s newest Galaxy devices—but this time with the added benefit of seeing them unveiled through this groundbreaking and immersive platform,” says Samsung in a blog post.
Naturally, smartphone owners will need an application for that, which is called Unpacked 360 View and is available for download on Google Play Store and App Store.
If you are the lucky owner of a Samsung Gear VR, then you must download the same application from the Oculus Store.
Choose to watch the event from four spots
There will be four places from where you will be able to watch the event in 360-degree: auditorium, stage left, stage right or center. Once you pick your preferred spot, you will be able to use the 360 live streaming to get a complete view of the event from every angle.
For those who wish to watch the Galaxy Unpacked on the PC, things are rather simple, as they must visit the event's website and choose from one of the four viewing positions.
