It seems that more and more people are starting to be really, really interested by wearable camcorders, those tiny imagers that attach to just about anything and provide some pretty interesting POV footage, this being the reason why uCorder rolled out the Pockito model IRDC260, a micro size pocket camcorder that doubles as a webcam.

According to the manufacturer, this device might prove to be a great companion when recording hands free activities from bike riding to snowboarding, given the fact that it easily fits within one's pocket and can be worn around the neck on a lanyard, or strapped to the arm / bike helmet using a sports accessory kit (included).

And indeed, since this thing measures just around 2.5 x 1.25 x 0.5 inches, we can really say that it's among the smallest, most portable solutions of this type we've ever come across.

The Pockito produces videos at 720x480 D1 resolution in AVI video format at 30 fps real-time, the video files being saved to Micro SD cards (2 GB included, expandable up to 16 GB allowing for up to 5.5 hrs of recording storage).

Plus, the uCorder Pockito can also be set to function as a Webcam upon connection to a PC for online chatting, while also working as a digital camera with Snapshot photos.

The tiny camcorder features a CMOS sensor with 200,000,000 Pixels, 72 degree viewing angle and is powered by a 3.7V built-in Lithium Battery that can provide a functioning life of around 75 minutes following a 4-hour full charge via USB.

The uCorder Pockito model IRDC260 sells for a fairly OK 99.99 USD (more affordable than some other wearable camcorders we've come across), especially since the sales package also includes the uCorder, neck strap, arm strap, helmet strap, protective skin, USB cable, mounting bracket, CD (for webcam) and a 2GB Micro SD Card.
