14 DAY TRIAL // Just this month, Twitter implemented Material Design in its Android app, but it seems that the company was also preparing a new product for iOS. As it turns out, Twitter has just released a new application for iOS, dubbed Twitter Engage.
The app provides real-time data and insights, allowing users to easily understand and grow their number of followers. Twitter has announced that the application was designed for creators, influencers, and public figures, but it is available for anyone who wishes to install it on their iOS devices.
Twitter Engage allows users to share content and keep a close bond with their followers by having conversations with fans and other users in real time. It allows users to manage daily interactions more easily and measure their influence on the social network.
Twitter Engage comes with complex analytics tools
The post specifies that Twitter Engage displays the most important follows and @mentions from loyal fans and influencers on the network. It also has lots of analytics capabilities, as it highlights account performance and audience, thus providing the means for viewing Twitter stats, including likes, retweets, mentions and video views.
The application also allows users to filter information through different time periods. Users will also have the option to access audience demographics and a real-time feed of what followers are tweeting about now.
Twitter has assigned a separate section for Verified users inside the application and another section that displays relevant posts, together with information on how many users liked it.
Twitter Engage comes with the option to review videos, GIFs, images and many other Twitter activity so that users will be able to track post-by-post performance and continue the conversation around the content.
Twitter has also announced that the application will be available in the App Store, but it will only work in the USA for now.
