Ubisoft revealed that the first private Beta for the upcoming  Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will start on February 7 and will run until February 11, and it will have some very interesting content.

Just like the first game in the series, The Division 2 is a PvE and PvP third-person shooter, which means that it’s online. And that online connectivity needs to be tested so that Ubisoft can adequately scale the infrastructure for it.

It’s also a good way to demo the game to people that hare pre-order it and acts as a reward for their investment. Moreover, an undisclosed number of free slots are offered to people who sign up for the Beta.

The official launch is just around the corner

With just a month until the official March 15th launch, Ubisoft is cutting it really close with this private Beta. It’s also possible that a public Beta could follow later this month.

Ubisoft say that “in the Private Beta, players will get a taste of what awaits them in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. After establishing their Base of Operations in the White House, Agents will venture out into a transformed Washington D.C., unlocking new skills and abilities while they upgrade to a level cap of seven and discover the eastern part of the open. world”

Player will get access to two main missions, available in Story, Normal and Hard Mode, five side missions and additional activities in the open world, PvPvE gameplay in one of the three new Dark Zones, and PvP gameplay in one Conflict mode, Skirmish.

Also, starting with February 8th, players will also get access to some of the end-game content, at level cap 30, and try the  Survivalist, Sharpshooter or Demolitionist specializations.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is going to be available on March 15th, 2019, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (the system requirements for this platform are more than acceptable.)
