The game should be really well optimized for the PC

Ubisoft revealed the PC minimum and recommended system requirements for The Division 2, and it turns out that they're quite tame.

The Division launched all the way back in 2016, after being hyped for a long time by the studio and the community. The initial response was not what Ubisoft was hoping for, but the devs Massive Entertainment continued to work on the game and improved it tremendously over time.

In fact, Ubisoft continuously released new content for the game over the course of three years, building a powerful and eager community. Now, the company is preparing to release the next iteration in the series, and it looks like they are making sure that it’s going to run smoothly on PCs.

The Division 2 needs to work

While the first game in the series looks great, if we take a good look at the second one and at what’s been shown until now, we could assume that the system requirements have increased exponentially.

Ubisoft’s is interested to get as many players as possible, and that means that the game needs to be extremely well optimized, and they promised the “PC version of the game includes a host of features, including uncapped frame rate, uncapped display resolution, full UI and HUD customisation, multiscreen and widescreen support, variable refresh rate support, and HDR support.”

The minimum requirements for 1080p and 30 FPS will require an Intel Core I5-2500K and Nvidia Geforce GTX 670, while the recommended requirements for 1080p and 60 FPS indicate the need for an Intel Core I7-4790 and Nvidia Geforce GTX 970.

Now, if you want to play this game in glorious 4K at 60FPS you will need an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X or Intel Core I9-7900X processors, and AMD Radeon VII or Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 TI.

Furthermore, it looks like Ubisoft decide to drop Steam this time and they will be releasing their games through uPlay and the recently released Epic Games Store.

The Division 2 launches on March 15, 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4
