14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 7 a couple of days ago, and it seems that the hype surrounding this device is only getting bigger. Pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 7 are already live, and the phone is said to arrive on August 19 in the US.
Meanwhile, US carriers have started posting videos with the handset's unboxing and struggled to showcase its features in the most entertaining way possible. T-Mobile has just released a video with the Note 7's unboxing, shot at Wild Waves Waterpark.
The unboxing video is truly something else, as it's shot entirely in the water park and even on slides. The video starts with T-Mobile's expert Des Smith unboxing the Galaxy Note 7 on a water slide.

Needless to say, the phone gets completely wet, but that shouldn't be an issue, considering that its IP68 certification allows the Note 7 to be submerged into water for up to 30 minutes and still work afterward. In addition, the S Pen is also waterproof and can write on the Note 7's screen even if it's a bit wet.
The video also shows off the handset's dual-curved Super AMOLED display that measures 5.7 inches, while also highlighting that it's the first smartphone to support HDR video playback, which got Des Smith really excited.
The device is available for pre-order at T-Mobile for $69.99 down and $32.50 for 24 months. Customers who get the device before August 28 can pick from a full year of Netflix, a Samsung Gear Fit2, and a 256GB memory card.
The Galaxy Note 7 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, as well as Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and a 12MP rear camera with f/1.7 lens and 1.4 µm pixels for snapping pictures.
4K video capturing is also available on the rear camera, and the smartphone comes with a 3,500mAh battery and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow while an update to Android 7.0 Nougat will be provided as soon as Google makes it available.
