Pre-orders will start on August 16 in Europe

Now that Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Note 7, all that fans need to know is when and where they can get their hands on the device. Samsung has stated that pre-orders at US carriers will start tomorrow, August 3, and that the handset will be released on August 19.

As expected, the Galaxy Note 7 was the main highlight of the Galaxy Unpacked 2016 event held by Samsung in New York City. There, the company presented all the features and specs on the Galaxy Note 7, with emphasis on enhanced security provided by its iris scanner, as well as on the new features incorporated in the S Pen.

The retail price of Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 with 5.7-inch QUAD HD Dual edge Super AMOLED display is $849.99 and some US carriers will also be offering freebies upon purchasing a Note 7, in order to sweeten the deal.

Samsung stated that the Galaxy Note 7 will be available on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless in Blue Coral, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx color variants. Pre-orders can also be made on Amazon, Car Toys, Sam’s Club, Target and some Walmart stores in the US.

Pre-orders for the Note 7 start tomorrow in the US and on August 16 in Europe

Pre-orders at Verizon are set to start on August 3 at 12 AM ET, exclusively online. Verizon will also be offering a free Gear Fit 2 and 256GB memory card for customers who buy the Galaxy Note 7. AT&T will also be launching pre-orders on the same day and the phone will be available in stores on August 19.

AT&T will be offering a Gear S2 smartwatch for free and a Galaxy Tab E tablet for $0.99 on 2 year agreements, both compatible with NumberSync upon purchasing the Note 7. In addition, customers can get a second Galaxy smartphone on AT&T Next and up to $695 in 30 monthly bill credits.

T-Mobile will launch pre-orders for the Note 7 tonight at 9 p.m. Pacific Time and the smartphone will be available for $69.99 down and $32.50 for 24 months. Customers who get the device before August 28 can pick between a full year of Netflix, a Samsung Gear Fit2, or a 256GB memory card.

US Cellular will be launching pre-orders on August 4 and the US carrier will offer the device in just two color variants, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx. For a limited time, customers who buy a Galaxy Note 7 can get a free Gear Fit2 or a Samsung 256GB memory card.

Pre-orders in European countries will start on August 16 and the device is said to go on sale on September 2. Pricing may differ depending on the market.
