DICE has not announced plans to fix it yet

Star Wars Battlefront is a multiplayer-focused shooter, which means that DICE and Electronic Arts need to keep the title as balanced as possible in the long run, which might be a problem given the trouble the community is currently having with the first major glitch to hit the experience.

Players playing on all platforms have been talking about a bug that allows them to gain unlimited health, which makes them able to achieve all objectives without too much trouble regardless of the performance of the opposition, with weapons having no effect on them.

Gamers have been collating information about the glitch on the Star Wars Battlefront Reddit, but at the moment there's no consensus about the reason.

The community is trying to isolate the issue to make sure that it is easy for DICE to fix it via a patch.

Some gamers are also reporting that in some matches larger groups of players are affected, which makes the entire combat system rather pointless.

The development team has not talked about the problem so far, but it will probably move to eliminate it as fast as possible to make sure that the shooter stays as balanced as possible, regardless of the mode gamers use.

If the unlimited health glitch in Star Wars Battlefront is truly random, then it might be a problem in the long term for the shooter, especially if it pops up relatively frequently.

For gamers who are having issues with their game, DICE and Electronic Arts are offering a list of known issues and workarounds.

Battle of Jakku is coming on December 1

DICE and Electronic Arts might be aiming at delivering a first major patch for Star Wars Battlefront before the first major piece of downloadable content for the shooter is introduced for free for the entire community.

Battle of Jakku is linked to the coming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie and gamers will get it on December 1 if they placed a pre-order and one week later if they did not.

It will allow gamers to take part in a major battle on the desert planet, with the action taking place years before the events of the new cinematic adventure.

A full Season Pass is also being offered to all those who have picked up Star Wars Battlefront, giving them a chance to get four major DLC pieces in 2016.

Four, yet unnamed, heroes and villains will be offered for gamers, and there are also 16 maps, all of them linked to the already featured planets.

DICE is also planning to introduce four modes with new mechanics to keep Star Wars Battlefront interesting in the long run.

The publishing team at Electronic Arts has already said that it has plans to create more titles in the series, focusing on the prequel series of movies and, presumably, on the new trilogy that J.J. Abrams is launching with The Force Awakens.

So far no official sales numbers linked to Battlefront have been made public, but both reviewers and players have received the experience well.
