Sony announced its latest flagship smartphone, the Xperia XZs, during the year’s biggest tech event, the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The Xperia XZs, along with other two Xperia phones announced, went on for pre-order recently and they are already available on Amazon.

The Xperia XZs can be pre-ordered on Amazon for the price of $699, while shipments are expected to start on April 5. The smartphone is available in three color options, including Warm Silver, Black and Ice Blue.

Amazon doesn’t seem to have bundled any special accessories for the new phone, while pre-orders placed in Europe came with a free Sony SRS-XB30 speaker priced at €169, while the Xperia XZs carried a price tag of €649.

Amazon is selling the dual-SIM variant of Xperia XZs

The dual-SIM variant of the Xperia XZs comes with two SIM slots, but one of them can be used for adding a 256GB microSD or a SIM card. This means that users can’t place two SIM cards and a microSD card in the phone.

The Xperia XZs variant has 64GB of internal memory, together with 4GB of RAM and last year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 platform, coupled with Adreno 530 graphics processing unit. The smartphone draws power from a 2,900mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and features IP68 certification and USB Type-C port, together with Android 7.1 Nougat.

The display size on the smartphone is 5.2 inches with Full HD resolution, while the rear camera features a 19MP sensor with autofocus and 4k recording, while the selfie snapper is 13MP with 22mm wide angle lens. The rear camera has Sony’s latest Motion Eye technology, which can record 960fps Super slow motion videos and use Predictive Capture that starts recording even before the user presses the button. Sony must also out its XZ Premium smartphone; pre-orders are live in Europe but phones are expected to ship in early June.
