Sony unveiled its latest smartphone flagship last month, together with the Xperia X Compact. The smartphone comes in three color variants, including Mineral Black, Platinum, and Forest Blue. Now, it seems that the company has made another color variant available, Deep Pink.

Sony Xperia XZ in Deep Pink is available exclusively through O2 in the UK and can be purchased through four plans. Customers can pay as less as £43.00 per month and up to £53.00 per month. O2 only offers the Xperia XZ Deep Pink with 32GB of internal storage, and the full retail price of the smartphone is £552.00.

Sony has yet to announce which other countries will be getting the Deep Pink variant of the Xperia XZ, but more information should surface soon. Recently, the unlocked Xperia XZ variant was made available in the US for the price of $699.

Sony Xperia XZ comes with 3GB of RAM and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow

The smartphone comes with a disabled fingerprint scanner in the US, but there is a method for enabling it. Owners simply need to flash the smartphone with firmware from another country, like the UK.

Sony Xperia XZ comes with a 5.2-inch FHD display with Gorilla Glass 4 on top and runs a Snapdragon 820 chipset, one of the latest released by Qualcomm. It also has 3GB of RAM and users get the option to expand the 32GB of internal memory to 256GB using a microSD card.

Moreover, it has a rear camera of 23MP with f/2.3 aperture and 24mm wide Sony G lens. The smartphone can record 4k videos and comes with a 13MP front camera and f/2.0 aperture. It draws power from a 2,900mAh battery and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone will be one of the first from Sony to receive an update to Android 7.0 Nougat before the end of the month.
