14 DAY TRIAL // Sony teased a pink color version of its flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z5, in the last couple of days. Today, the Japanese company confirmed the pink Xperia Z5 will be available for purchase worldwide in the coming weeks.
Unveiled back in September at IFA 2015, Xperia Z5 is one of the best camera phones available on the market.
The smartphone comes with a 23-megapixel rear-facing camera that features a Sony Exmor sensor, phase detection autofocus, LED flash, and 4K video recording.
Also, the Xperia Z5 packs a secondary 5.1-megapixel camera in the front that can capture full HD (1080p) video. It can also be used to take the perfect selfie.
According to Sony Mobile, the new pink Xperia Z5 uses the same frost glass finish as the current models and combines it with a light dusky pink color palette.
“We knew we wanted to add pink to the Z5 series from our very first moodboards and sketches as it seemed to compliment the colour palette to the rest of the range. But to get the tone right with the frosted glass and aluminium frame did take some time.
“We researched many places in which the most beautiful shades of pink can be found, from nature and Japan’s own Sakura cherry blossom right through to the colours in the sky during a beautiful sunset,” said Lead Designer on the project, Rikke Gertsen Constein.
No differences regarding specs
Specs-wise, there are no differences between the pink Xperia Z5 and the other models already available on the market.
