Samsung is focusing on its Unpacked 2016 event where the South Korean company is expected to unveil its new flagship Android smartphone, the Galaxy S7.

However, the handset maker will launch a few other products at MWC 2016 trade fair, which is scheduled to kick off in late February.

One of the devices that should be announced next month is the Galaxy Tab E 7.0, a cheap Android tablet that will probably go unnoticed to the Galaxy S7's big reveal.

According to SamMobile, the South Korean company plans to launch a new Galaxy E tablet lineup, which will probably be unveiled next month.

An 8-inch version of the Galaxy Tab E tablet has been released at US Cellular in the United States, but the slate also made its debut in Taiwan.

The next tablet in the Galaxy Tab E family will have a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.

A Lite version and a Kids model will be launched too

Also, the Galaxy Tab E 7.0 will pack a 1.3GHz processor, but the number of cores is unknown for the moment. The slate is currently known as Samsung SM-T280/SM-T285, which suggests the Galaxy Tab E 7.0 will be released in two variations at least.

Other rumored specs of the tablet include 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot. The Galaxy Tab E 7.0 will also offer 4G LTE support.

Apart from the standard version of Galaxy Tab E 7.0, Samsung plans to launch a Galaxy Tab E Lite with model number SM-T113, as well as a Kids variant.

Since we're still a month away from the official unveiling of the tablet, it's a bit too early to talk about price and availability, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 7.0 should be priced on the cheap side considering the specs leaked online recently.
