There have been lots of unconfirmed rumors about Samsung Galaxy S7's launch next year. Many of these rumors claim that the South Korean company plans to introduce its next flagship smartphone earlier than usual.

For those unaware, Samsung always unveils its Galaxy S flagships a few days ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC), and it looks like next year won't be an exception.

Even though many sources claimed in the past that Samsung Galaxy S7 would arrive at least two weeks earlier than expected, the latest hearsay says otherwise.

According to a tipster who was right many times in the past, Samsung will announce the Galaxy S7 during its next Unpacked event rumored for February 21.

This date comes in line with the usual timeframe that Samsung uses to launch its Galaxy S flagships since Mobile World Congress 2016 trade fair will kick off one day later, on February 22.

A teaser image of the Unpacked event leaked as well, but it doesn't show any dates so we can't confirm yet whether it will take place on February 21 or not.

However, as we're getting closer to Mobile World Congress 2016, many handset makers will want to announce their press conferences, Samsung included.

Samsung is said to launch multiple versions of Galaxy S7 based on the amount of RAM and the chipset inside.

One of the models will include Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor while the other one should pack Samsung's Exynos 8890 CPU.

Obviously, the phone will come preloaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system onboard, along with the latest version of TouchWiz UI.

In fact, the Galaxy S7 might be the first Samsung smartphone to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box.

The rest of the phone's specs are still a mystery, but as we're getting closer to its unveiling, new information might emerge online, so stay tuned for more on Galaxy S7.
