As soon as the Galaxy S7 goes official, the South Korean company will try to make it available for purchase in the next few weeks.

Samsung has already signed partnerships with many carriers and authorized retailers, so we shouldn't be surprised to see the Galaxy S7 in just about every country.

Until then, let's take a look at some of the features that Samsung's flagship smartphone is rumored to pack.

We've already reported that Galaxy S7 will come in many variations and some of them will be equipped with either Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Samsung Exynos 8890 CPUs.

The Qualcomm-based version of Galaxy S7 will be available in China and the United States, possibly in a few other markets too, whereas the international variant will be powered by Samsung's Exynos chipset.

Today, the Qualcomm-powered Galaxy S7 has been spotted at Geekbench (via GforGames) where it scored pretty decently in both single and multi-core benchmarks.

The device benchmarked is tagged with model number SM-G930A, which we've previously learned will belong to the US carrier AT&T.

Confirmed to ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow onboard

So, the AT&T version of Galaxy S7 will pack 4GB of RAM inside. Also, it will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box.

Naturally, Samsung's flagship smartphone will be available at other carriers in the United States, but they will appear in benchmarks with different model names.

For example, Sprint Galaxy S7 should be tagged with model number SM-G930P while Verizon-branded Galaxy S7 is known as SM-G930V. Last but not least, the T-Mobile Galaxy S7 should appear with model number SM-G930T.

The slightly larger version of Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7 edge has been confirmed to model number SM-G935, but the rest of the letters designating the carrier should remain the same.
