We're less than two months away from the official unveiling of Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7.

There have been many rumors regarding the phone's specs sheet and looks, but we haven't yet established how many versions will be released on the market.

Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, but this year the South Korean company might unveil more than two flagship smartphones.

According to a new report coming from GSMArena, Samsung plans to launch at least three Galaxy S7 models in late February.

The source of the information is accessory retailer ITSKINS, which sells cases for high-end smartphones. The retailer was kind enough to measure the screens of the Galaxy S7 family to try and offer an accurate report on how many versions might be released on the market.

After receiving their report, GSMArena claims that Samsung has decided to simplify its lineup to make it easier for customers to choose the device that suits them best.

Only the 6-inch model comes in two variations

The standard version of Galaxy S7 will pack a 5.1-inch display and won't have a curved edition. On the other hand, the Galaxy S7 edge will sport a larger 5.5-inch curved display, but a flat variant won't be available.

Thirdly, Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus will boast a huge 6-inch display and will be available in two versions: flat and curved. In fact, the Galaxy S7 Plus will be the only one to come in two variations.

Since the information comes directly from an accessory retailer, there's a high chance that the details provided are pretty accurate.

Three versions of Galaxy S7 might seem too much at first glance, but Samsung is trying to cover all sizes with its flagship smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be officially unveiled on February 21, ahead of Mobile World Congress 2016 trade fair.
