Samsung has already launched the Galaxy Note 5 in some regions, but India was not among the first countries to get the company's latest flagship smartphone.

Luckily, that's about to change since SamMobile reports Samsung plans to introduce the Galaxy Note 5 in India early next week.

According to the cited source, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 should be officially unveiled during a dedicated event scheduled for September 7. Unfortunately, details on availability and pricing options have yet to emerge.

Still, considering the phablet has been priced in the United States at $700 for the 32GB model and $795 for the 64GB variant, we expect the Indian version of Galaxy Note 5 to cost around the same amount.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 won't be available globally

Apparently, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 won't be available worldwide, as the South Korean company has decided to offer Europeans the option to buy the Galaxy S6 edge+ instead.

On the other hand, customers in India can already purchase the Galaxy S6 edge+ for Rs 57,900 ($875 / €800) outright, and beginning next week they will probably be able to buy the Galaxy Note 5 as well.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 comes preloaded with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box. The phablet is equipped with a powerful octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, which is complemented by 4GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the device packs either 32GB or 64GB of internal memory, which is all you get since the Galaxy Note 5, just like Galaxy S6, lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Another strong point of the Galaxy Note 5 is the stunning 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 4 coating.
